My role is to keep technology in check to serve – not stray from – its core purpose:

making our lives simpler and more joyful, rather than more complicated.

| Hello. I’m a UX & visual designer with an intrigue for communication &
human behaviour.

Person holding open a magazine featuring creative design content, including UX/UI themes, text about communication and concept creation, and artistic images of people and abstract designs. The layout combines text and visuals in a modern, aesthetically pleasing format.

Describes Poshmark's expansion in Toronto with PR support. Includes three images of diverse people smiling and networking at an event. Contains navigation links for About, Services, and Contact, with social media icons and a contact number at the top.

We went to hundreds of design conferences, were inspired by countless speakers and made tons of new connections and friends… but always walked away feeling like we were only talking about a fraction of what designers can do. This is an event dedicated to the rest of it.

TALK SHOP

Friday—Sunday
10—12 August 2023

Brooklyn—NY
Clarkson House

We were always taught that art creates problems and design solves them. Is that an overly limiting way to think of our practice? Are we closing ourselves off to interesting opportunities by not embracing the role of troublemakers?

Abstract collage of a human head and brain with anatomical illustrations, overlayed text "Problem" and "Solve," geometric lines, and digital elements.

Speakers include Mark Novo, Sofia Pazari, Sandra Cami, Kevin Matsuya, Chase Nevins, Ida Kester, Helen Gates and more.

Abstract painting with black, blue, and white flowing lines on a light background.

Enjoy live demonstrations of papermaking, Japanese calligraphy, screenprinting and other craft traditions with applications to both art and design.
